One of TCC's aims is to make Tipton known throughout the West Midlands and give it the reputation that it deserves. Tipton has an amazing historical story about industry but it also has amazing people living throughout and we want to be able to help in all we can with making Tipton a great community town that pulls together as one big family.
The Tipton Canal Festival 2011
Every year Tipton holds its annual canal festival organised by the TCA (Tipton Community Association). TCC was asked this year to help open the fesitival with live worship, and along with new testament church and tipton green methodist church, had an open air service on the sunday morning which saw all churches come together to praise God. What an incredible day and next years plans are already in preperation to be even bigger!
Boscobel June 2011
The Boscobel estate is a near by residential estate which houses residents aged 60+. TCC takes great joy in maintaining the estate by cutting back trees, picking up leaves even sweeping the floor outside doors. TCC has a heart for its community and is here to serve in anyway we can.
The Big Tidy Up 2010
The Big Tidy up took place in October 2010, and saw 30 people from Tipton and outside of Tipton come together to make our community sparkle. Big thankyou to Tipton Litter Watch and Step For your help and publicising. And a special thankyou to our very own Sarah Jones who organised the clean up, without you this wouldn't have happened.
Watch Out For The Next One
This is our latest clip from the Tipton Canal Festival which took place in september 2010. TCC was asked to open the festival with worship along side the New Testament Church of God. TCC had two gazebos where the public had the chance to come and ask what the Church is really about and see who Jesus really is. TCC, New Testament and Tipton Green Methodist also teamed up on Sunday to do a big out door service which was so popular people had to gather outside the marquee so that they could be involved.
